Holiday Hope PDX takes great pride in assisting diverse families, from a blended family with eleven kids to an elderly woman caring for her four grandchildren, ensuring they have a holiday filled with food and gifts.
Holiday Hope was created by a high school student who transformed his concept into a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting those who are less fortunate than he was.
Holiday Meals
Food is a necessity for everyone, yet holiday meals can be unaffordable for those on a tight budget.
Adopt a Family
New for 2024, the “Adopt a Family” program is launching this year, and everyone at Holiday Hope is thrilled about it. “Sharing is Caring.”

Supplying toys to parents of children, ensuring they have gifts to open on that special day.

Our Mission
Holidays and special occasions are meant to be joyful times for everyone, but for seniors on a fixed income who are raising their grandchildren, single parents, and those facing medical challenges, the spirit of these celebrations can often be missing. Each year, Holiday Hope PDX aims to provide food, toys, and essential items to those who find themselves between the poverty line and middle class—individuals who do not qualify for assistance from other agencies.
